PUBLIC INVITED TO TAKE PART IN BUILDING MASSIVE LEGO®MOSAIC
When LEGOLAND Discovery Center Hits The Road This Summer
Grapevine, Texas (June 21, 2017) - This summer, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth is hitting the road and inviting members of the public to help create a massive, Ninjago-themed LEGO® brick mosaic.
With more than 20 man hours of work to be done, the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Master Model Builder will be onsite at stops around Dallas-Fort Worth armed with 79,320 bricks, enlisting the help of LEGO® brick fanatics of all ages to build the nearly 6-foot-tall by 10-foot-wide mosaic featuring Sensei Wu and all six ninjas from the popular LEGO® Ninjago toy line and TV show. Similar to a paint-by-numbers system, the public will use bricks to build small LEGO® tiles that will combine together to create the massive image.

The completed, permanent mosaic will be unveiled in LEGOLANDDiscovery Center’s new Ninjago City Adventure obstacle courseon Friday, September 22,opening day ofthe new animatedaction-comedy “The LEGO Ninjago Movie” by Warner Bros. Thursday, August 10 – Klyde Warren Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.*
Saturday, August 26 – Haggard Park in Historic Downtown Plano Arts District featuring “The LEGO Batman Movie” from 6:30 to 8 p.m.*
*Free and open to the public.
Attraction Hours and Tickets: Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. - last admission two hours prior to closing. Admission is $21 for guests 3 years of age and older, and free for kids 2 and under.
